VBS Photography. Who am I?
My name is Vincent or Vinny to be more casual. I’m a 27-year-old photographer who predominantly specialises in automotive photography. My skills do not just stop here though.
I love portrait work (not just people) and product photography as well. Capturing a moment for someone or capturing an image of a product that by itself may be not overly interesting but then building a scene around it to make it stand out is great.
I’m based in the heart of Lincolnshire in a small market town called Louth. Louth is a very sleepy slow pace of life kind of place which for downtime is great. Thankfully though it isn’t very far from many places with my brother-in-law always joking saving every major city is only a 3-hour drive away.
I’ve been doing photography since I was 16. I always had a passion and interest for cars and motorbikes which is really what got me started to begin with. This is why Automotive photography is where my heart lies. As I got older I started taking my camera when I went mountain biking and it just kept going from there.
I’m never usually too far away from my cameras as well, as I’m writing this I have two sat on my desk.
Photography has brought me some great opportunities. Most recently the shoot with Outlaw Gear that I had the privilege of doing. Being Invited along to a couple of Goodwood events with Windsor Classics has also been a massive highlight. I’ve now attended the Goodwood 80th Members Meeting and Goodwood Revival in 2021 with them. I want to keep striving to do more to make work that people love. Capture images that make people stop for a minute. Working with people is always great fun and helping them get their ideas down is extremely satisfying.
Going forward I have brands that I’d dream of working with and events I’d love to shoot for. We shall see where this whole photography thing takes me.
