Despite the weather’s gloom, gear-heads and coffee aficionados alike come together for the first Lincs Auto Club (LAC) Cars & Coffee event of the year. Held once again at the iconic Seven Districts Coffee, it was a petrolhead’s paradise with the perfect blend of automotive eye candy and caffeine kicks. Not to forget the food and cakes that you can indulge yourself with.
Bright and early, I loaded up my photography gear headed over to my mates and hitched a ride with him. Opting for something spicy compared to my car and the weather was too dull for my motorbike. This is how I justify being a passenger princess anyway. Joined by fellow enthusiasts, we made a pit stop at the petrol station before navigating the damp and greasy roads leading to Seven Districts Coffee. Taking it steady, of course, though the M2 ride didn’t shy away from a little excitement. We eventually all made it there. Then parked up and all fuelled ourselves with bacon bagels and strong coffees.

Despite the less-than-ideal weather, the turnout was still impressive, showcasing a diverse show of automotive delights. From M cars to Porsches, including a stunning imported RS, and even a gleaming Ferrari 812 Superfast. Each arrival brought a new wave of excitement. Yet, it was the Porsche Dakar, with only 300 miles on the clock, that stole the spotlight, effortlessly parking next to a Bowler Land Rover on the muddy grass verge.

In the end, it was another unforgettable gathering filled with passionate enthusiasts and caffeine connoisseurs. If you ever find yourself in the Lincoln(ish) area, be sure to swing by Seven Districts Coffee for a taste of their in-house roasted coffee. And for future LAC events, keep your eyes peeled on their Instagram. I’ll likely be there too so keep an eye on my Instagram as well. Cars and coffee events aren’t always the ideal place for getting photographs so if you wish to contact me for a private photoshoot please do not hesitate.
