… not having a laptop as it got sent away for repair, that one hurt the wallet, and because I have been getting my golfing practice in ready for my charity event which is less than a month away now. All that being said with the beautiful weather and the post of another Lincs Autoclub Cars and Coffee event I couldn’t resist. With the glorious weather, we had it meant I could also go along on my motorbike for once instead of being the passenger princess for one of my friends.
The day started early getting the bike out, fuelled and heading over to meet a couple of friends to convoy over to the well-known Seven Districts Coffee. If you haven’t been there yet then I urge you to go. If coffee isn’t your thing the food is amazing………. as is the cake.
Getting there just before the start time of the event meant we could have coffee in hand whilst watching all the stunning cars arrive. It’d be rude not to, it is a cars and coffee event. The Lincs Autoclub event never fails to disappoint in a variety of cars. This time ranging from a Ford Capri to the likes of a Porsche GT4 RS.

Travelling over on my bike meant I had to pack light and small. I couldn’t have had a better excuse to take the Leica M11 with me, not that an excuse is required. With each moment passing car after car rocked up until the venue’s car park was brimming with cars of all types. For the petrolheads out there that are in the Lincolnshire area, these events are always great.

The star of the show for me this time was a Porsche GT3 RS. You probably all know by now that I am very much a Porsche lover. This one was definitely the best I have seen so far. A very dark metallic Olive green, looking black from a distance, with gold wheels and gold stickering on the side, it was a stunner. I was informed by the owner as well that he had only picked it up the day before the event. What a way to break in the engine.

A close second had to be a gorgeous Honda NSX that was in a fabulous red colour. I always loved the original ones and I’ve got to say I’m a big fan of the new ones as well. They really have done a class job of them.

My time was pretty limited there so I only got a handful of images but it was great all the same. All the drivers that turn up are always very friendly and are willing to spare some time to talk to people. No snobbery, no pretentiousness just car enthusiasts there to share their cars and talk about cars with others. What more could you want?
A big thank you to Lincs Autoclub for setting up another great event and another big thank you to Seven Districts Coffee for fuelling the caffeine addiction I secretly have. As always thank you to those who tune in and read these it is always appreciated and don’t forget if you are ever thinking about or curious about a shoot with me then just drop me a line and contact me. I’m always happy to answer any questions.
A cheeky follow on my Instagram page is always appreciated as well, sometimes there are images that get posted on there that might not make it onto my website and visa versa.
