2020 ProTour: Kenwick Park

The 2020 ProTour once again made a stop at Lincolnshire’s own Kenwick Park Golf Club. This two-day event saw pros and amateurs alike fight for a top spot to get their hands on some serious money and prizes.

Luckily enough for me, I was able to go down and watch round 1, which was held on Sunday 19th July. The weather was hot, fairways firm and greens rolling well; it stood up to be a good challenge for all. I went along to support Ashton Turner, who is one of the pros at Kenwick Park. I only managed to stay around for 14 holes, but there was a good display from all in that time. Ash himself shot a -2 in round 1 and then -4 in round 2, giving him a victory of an overall -6 for the event.

Kenwick gives a good test of driving the ball, as missed fairways can be very penalising, as I think a few may have found out. It was a well-run event by both hosts and organisers. It’s always great to see things like this come to the area, and obviously always a bonus when the person you’re supporting takes home the win.

This was only a short post just to share some images and my brief time watching the event. more can be seen of the 2020 ProTour through their instagram. I will be posting some bits from the even on my instagram as well.
As always feel free to drop me a message on my instagram or on my contact page for an enquiries.
Thank you.
